I’m Tunde Bariz, a BACP registered and NCPS accredited counsellor based in Richmond, offering counselling for adults and young people aged 14 and over. I provide a safe, confidential space where you can explore life’s challenges at your own pace.
As a qualified counsellor and yoga therapist, I’m here to offer a warm, confidential space where you can begin to make sense of your experiences, reconnect with yourself, and unfold the inner strengths already within you. Whether you're struggling with a specific issue or simply feeling stuck, you don’t have to do it alone.
My counselling approach is person-centred at its heart, offering you a space to explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours to gain self-awareness and work towards positive change. For those who wish, I also offer separate yoga therapy sessions to support stress and anxiety through a body-based approach. Whether you're navigating life transitions, relationship issues, school pressures, or emotional difficulties, I’m here to support you in unfolding the strengths already within you.

Counselling offers more than just a space to talk – it’s a space to be heard, to feel seen, and to begin understanding yourself in new and compassionate ways. When you’re feeling overwhelmed by life, caught in dysfunctional patterns, or simply unsure of how to move forward, counselling can help bring clarity and calm. It allows you to explore your experiences without judgement, to express difficult emotions safely, and to gently shift the ways you respond to stress and anxiety.
Through our work together, you may begin to notice more self-awareness, stronger boundaries, and a growing sense of resilience. Over time, counselling can help you build a kinder relationship with yourself, let go of what’s been holding you back, and move toward a life that feels more authentic, grounded, and aligned with who you really are.
I work with adults and young people facing a wide range of emotional and psychological challenges. These may include anxiety, stress, and burnout, whether related to work, school, relationships or internal pressures. Some people come to counselling with low mood or depression, while others feel stuck, lost, or numb without knowing exactly why. I also support clients through life transitions such as starting university, moving away from home, job/career change or retirement. Relationship difficulties, parenting struggles, and identity issues can also be explored in a safe and confidential space. For some, past trauma or experiences of dissociation and overwhelm are part of what brings them to therapy. Whatever your situation, you are welcome here, just as you are.
